Jac'leen began her career at Viacom in New York City and has contributed her efforts to production outlets such as Sharp Entertainment, Big Beach Films, and Complex Media. In 2019, Jac'leen moved to Los Angeles to make her foray into documentary filmmaking where she served as associate producer on Taylor Swift: Miss Americana. The film, which opened Sundance in January 2020, was produced by Tremolo Productions for Netflix. As a multi-hyphenate creative and storyteller in her own right, Jac’leen is inspired by content creators and artists from all walks of life and believes that amplifying and elevating storytellers of color should be ongoing and not just momentary. Jac’leen considers her art as a direct reflection of her personal style — authentic, engaging, and ever-evolving. In March 2022, Jac'leen released her independent docuseries, Dear Younger Self which she created, directed, and executive produced.
